It's Great To Be A Mighty Pirate!

Ann Luckett went to her first football game a couple of weeks ago. She had a great time. As you can see, we sat right in front of the The Best Middle School Band in America...literally. They won first in the national competition this year. Anyway, that was her and Winston's favorite part. Charles was not happy that she came home saying "Go Pirates Go!" She has just now started cheering for the Almighty Rebels again.

Pathetic Patient

Ann Luckett just got over having a week long fever virus. As long as she had a dose of Motrin, she was fine. If we let it wear off at all this is how she looked. She would hold a cooling pad on her head and want to watch The Lion King constantly. She also got attached to a pacifier that has a thermometer in it. She looks pretty ridiculous walking around with that thing in her mouth.

Tea Time

Ann Luckett has a new found love for playing tea. One afternoon she set the table for Glenda Bear, Monkey, Raggedy Ann and she even made a setting for me. She is a polite hostess and always wants to give "cheers" to everyone and say "delicious" after each sip.

I love that she even put the sticker packaging on her leg!

Story Time!

ALM, Winston & Thatcher working on crafts
shaking her bean bag

Every Wednesday we were home this summer we met Winston and Thatcher Firth at the Vestavia Library for Story Time. The kids listen to a story, dance and "shake their bean bags" and finally get a sucker, which is the most exciting part.

I found a turtle!

I see it!

I got him!

On a recent visit to Mississippi Ann Luckett, well really Poppy, spotted a turtle and couldn't resist a little pet. She was fascinated but was happy to let it go on its way.

First Day of School Outfit

My grandmother made Ann Luckett this precious dress and hat for her first day in her new class at school. She loved walking in with her new hat and asks to wear it around the house. It is precious!
